I wish I would have checked the name tag for the girl at the bell desk. I didn't get the requested late checkout, but I would stay again but the front desk and bell desk attendant need attitude checks for sure. This experience was the highlight of the trip.
He sent me away with a small sample of the body butter and said Happy Birthday. I am no stranger to massages, but this was quite possibly the best ever. Eric was an excellent listener and he turned my body to mush in no time at all. It is difficult for a masseuse to learn a client's body.
I would return to Las Vegas just to go to the spa and see Eric again. I had Eric for a massage with hot stones and body butter enhancements and it was excellent. We took a shower in the waterfall showers and did the steam room, sauna, and different whirlpools by temperature. We were checked in and given a tour and the place is the most beautiful spa I've ever seen. My cousin and I had 9 am appointments and arrived at 8:30 am. We didn't have any food in the hotel outside of room service however, I would be remiss if I didn't mention our spa visit. The spacious room, deep tub, and comfortable bed was exactly what I needed to wait for my cousin to arrive. The bathroom floor needed to be swept and there were no robes, but I didn't complain. Alexa wasn't working properly due to the wind, but we still enjoyed the accommodations. She went a step further and put my cousin in the adjoining room, 2831. The room was beautiful on the 28th floor. She contacted the bell desk and had the luggage delivered promptly. Thank God for this girl, please keep her. I approached the desk again and the first young lady was there again and let me know the room was ready and she didn't understand why I wasn't notified.
It was at that moment that I remembered my company holds a seminar in this hotel once a year and we began to discuss my discomfort and he apologized for the behavior of his coworkers. He took care of us and asked how we liked the hotel and I shared my experience with the front desk and bell desk girl. We approached the bar in the lobby and met a very nice bartender (I hate that I cannot remember his name). I was beginning to not like the vibe in this hotel. I went outside and was met with a female attendant and she was snooty, too, and rude to boot. I asked if we could put our luggage away and he directed me toward the bell desk outside. Three hours later and I approached the check-in area and was met with a very snooty gentleman who let me know the room was not ready. She took my phone number and said she would text me when the room was ready. The lady at the front desk was very polite, Cyryl, I think. I was a bit upset because I wanted to relax. Our flight was early and I didn't expect the room to be ready and it wasn't. I checked into Encore on April 12 to celebrate my birthday.
